Do you build what you sell? Are your potential customers curious about how your products are built? It’s not feasible to take each customer on a tour of your production facilities is it?
What if…there was another way to show them how your products are created? Wouldn’t they love to see the quality and the craftsmanship that goes into it? You’re proud of what you sell, so let’s show them. And now you know how professional industrial photography can help you sell your products, because your phone snaps are not going to cut it.
I work with a variety of industries to visually demonstrate their processes from start to finish, and their clients are fascinated. (Ok I am too because industrial photography is a bit of a jam for me.) This imagery is used not only on company websites, but also as custom-produced artwork in corporate lobbies and board rooms to create one-of-a-kind art installations for my clients.
It starts with a simple meeting (spoiler alert folks…I provide FREE consultations…) so I can learn all about your business from top to bottom. I ask a TON of questions too—I may seem nosy, but there’s a method to my madness (most days). What do you sell? What do you sell the MOST of? What is your most profitable item? (Because sometimes there’s a difference and that’s important.) Who are your customers? What are their demographics? Are there specific types of customers that buy specific types of products? (Because that drives your marketing efforts.) How do your customers find you? (Website? Referral? Cold calling? That also drives your marketing efforts.)
These are the sorts of questions I ask as an experienced professional photographer because my clients are more than mere assignments. How can I truly help them build their businesses and make more sales? (Ok I’m not stupid here…I do a good job and provide a good experience, I get not only referred to others, but called back for repeat business so why WOULDN’T I do everything I can, at every level, to help my clients succeed?) My approach to industrial and commercial photography is much more holistic and comprehensive. As part of that service, I always provide extra imagery from different angles so that if clients want to refresh their websites, they already have what they need at their fingertips. They don’t need to call me every couple of months for updates because they already have them. (Will I turn down additional work if needed? Small business owner here so of course not…) Will they call me when they have a new product line or refer me when they can? Absolutely!
What can I do to assist you? Let’s have a conversation (because it’s free…remember the spoiler alert 3 paragraphs ago? Yeah that…) Let’s talk about what’s important for you to market, how to do it, and how I can help you do so. Work can be done in stages to spread out costs too. There’s lots of possibilities—we can figure out what’s best for YOUR business to reach all your curious customers to turn them into buyers.
